Art Adventure - NSU ART MUSEUM in Fort Lauderdale, FL:

Last month’s group visit to the Morikami Museum was so much fun that Lark Keeler and I are going to continue gathering monthly with a small group of enthusiasts for lunch and appreciation of the rich variety of local museums.

If you’d like to experience great art and great conversation with friends known and new please save the date: Friday, July 23, 2021, and meet us at 11:00 am at the NSU Art Museum at One East Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

NSU Art Museum is a premier destination for exhibitions and programs which aim to challenge viewers’ perceptions of the world around them. The Museum draws from its collection for exhibitions exploring issues that resonate with the South Florida community and contribute to productive discussions that address identity, inequalities, and injustices, encourage empathy and compassion and inspire wonder. Lark offers virtual and in-person classes at the museum every month (and sometimes even more often.)

We will meet in the Museum Cafe (menu here) and then Lark will lead us on an exploration of the many exhibitions (List here).

Entry to the museum and the cost of lunch are on your own. (Admission:Adults: $12 Seniors and Military: $8 Students (13-17) and college students (with a valid ID): $5 FREE for NSU Art Museum Members, NSU students, faculty, and staff, and children 12 and under). There is plenty of parking available next door in the FAU Parking Garage at 144 SE 1st Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, and on the street nearby.
